The Travellers Rest is a traditional Stone two storey pub in the village of Clowne, lies on the borders of three counties: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. Creswell Craggs Caves are also nearby boasting some of the oldest once inhabited caves in the world. The Pub benefits from being sited on the Main Creswell Road A616.

Trade Area
Upon entry the pub has three distinct trading areas, the main bar to the front of the pub with the lounge / dining area to the rear encompassing a third room that has been made into a games area including a pool table, darts facility and machines etc. The bar is situated centrally in the pub being able to serve all rooms from a central point and the interior has been kept in good order and even refurbished in parts including new exterior signage.

The site also includes a small catering kitchen able to offer bar meals and a Sunday Lunch menu which could be further enhanced with the right retailer. The Pub enjoys an extensive car park including outside drinking area to the rear and further off to the side of the site.
